27 YEARS LATER A “NEIGHBOR” COMES OUT OF NOWHERE AND WHILE HELPING, BRINGS LIGHT INTO THE DARKNESS.
Yesterday at the refugee center in Korcsowa, a 60 year old Ukrainian refugee came in to the Hadassah clinic asking for her blood pressure to be checked.
Hadassah nurse TATYANA TERLETSKY, born in Ukraine, took care of her and initiated a discussion. They found out that they were both from the city port of Berdyans'k Бердянськ (Sea of Azov).
Deepening the conversation and after getting her facts checked with her father, Tatyana realized that they not only share the same birth place and the same city, but as well the same house! In fact, hey lived in the same house which Tatyana’s family left 27 years ago. Another surprise was finding out that she is Jewish as well!
