We were earlier at the Dorohusk border crossing where a reception area is organized by the Polish authorities. Access to the border crossing is not permited because of security reasons. Our visit coincided with the visit of the Polish First Lady.
Infants, children, women, elderly men and women with each with 1, max 2 bags that they can carry with them fleeing Ukraine and looking for help. Vast majority do not speak anything other than Ukrainian. Polish Authorities receive them, and advise them what kind of help they can receive and from where, including sending them to aid centers. Vans and busses are arriving permanently picking them up and bringing them to a destination.
A medical station is prepared, and ambulances are leaving every 5 minutes.
